Peninsula Park-View is located across the road from the quiet Highland Road entrance into Peninsula State Park, making it the ideal place to enjoy biking, hiking, and winter sports. There is no fee for biking and hiking into the park at this entrance. Vehicles can enter only 3 tenths of a mile away at the golf course entrance. It is much easier to get in and out of the park at the north end than at the busy Fish Creek entrance and it is the closest resort to most of the Park's amenities, such as the large sandy beach, golfing, boat rentals, American Folklore Theater and most campgrounds. It is a block from the mountain bike trails, the cross country ski trails (and warming house), the snowmobile trails, and the golf course for the snow shoeing and winter hiking.

Peninsula Park-View, reasonably priced and exceptionally clean, is a Better Business Bureau A+ rated lodging,

A small, family owned resort, the owners work hard to offer a Travel Green stay and with many amenities. Each unit is different and range from budget priced rooms with a microwave and refrigerator and WI FI, to exceptional suites and lovely cottages. It is the perfect choice for reunions and groups and a favorite base for silent sports and creative arts. There is one queen room that allows a pet and one queen kitchenette with a large tiled shower that accommodates a wheelchair.

Stay with us and we will share our secrets.

"So much for so little", say repeat guests who return year after year to Peninsula Park-View. There is parking for larger vehicles or boats. Guests might get up early to fish or golf on the Championship Golf Course, just a wood and a nine iron away. They may then ride a complimentary 21 speed bicycle or tandem bicycle to photograph the amazing Peninsula State Park and later print a photo in the photo shop on site and make post cards of their own photo to send to friends. While on the large sandy beach, they sometimes swim, rent a kayak or canoe or bask in the sun. They might then hike on the nature trails or tour the light house. Sometimes they take time to meditate on one of the amazing overlooks. They often bike to nearby Ephraim or return to Peninsula Park-View to swim in the large outdoor heated pool, play ping pong or enjoy a board game and light a fire in the large stone fireplace in the gathering lodge. They might use the outdoor fire pit and grills. or return to the park to enjoy a spectacular sunset and American Folklore Theater or go to the outdoor movie theater a block away. Some guests end the evening with wine from a local winery in a glass hand painted by Rosie that is for sale only in the photo imaging retail shop.

Peninsula Park-View is the first choice for many groups because each lodging unit is different. Guests may choose a nicely decorated budget priced room with an open air porch and new wicker furniture, a romantic stay in one of the suites, or a group get together in a 2,3, or 5 bedroom cottage. Each has wireless internet access, a microwave and refrigerator or a kitchenette or full kitchen and all are exceptionally clean. There is one kitchenette suite for a handicapped person and one room if you travel with a dog. This queen room is across from the park entrance, so it is convenient to walk the dog on a road for bicycles and walkers. All other buildings are pet and smoke free. Smoking away from buildings is allowed. People sometimes reserve a year or two in advance in order to get their favorite.

Listed rates are for two people in the rooms and suites, for four people in the 2 & 3 bedroom cottages, and for 8 people in the 5 bedroom cottage. Each additional person of any age is only $10 per night. Cottages have a 3 night minimum stay during mild and prime seasons. Exceptions may be made during the quiet season. There is a 2 or 3 night minimum in the rooms and suites on most summer, festival, and holiday weekends.

You may reserve in three ways. First, you may reserve online and pay through our pay pal secured website, using many different credit cards . You may reserve on line and call to pay by phone using visa or master card or you may call to make the complete reservation. We enjoy speaking with you. You are welcome to call us at 920 854-2633 or 920 363 4086. The address is 3397 Highway 42, Fish Creek, WI 54212.

Did you know that Door County has a very unique identity? It has more shoreline than any other County in the United States, more rare plant and animals and protected lands than any County in Wisconsin, and exquisitely peaceful scenery. It is, therefore, not surprising that it attracts creative artists who offer visitors a wonderful variety of ways to enjoy their vacation.
