"So much for so little and the central location is wonderful" say many guests who return year after year.    A small family owned resort with 16 exceptionally clean and individually decorated units, the owners work hard to offer a Travel Green stay with old fashioned enjoyment.

A Peninsula Park-View    is a clean, reasonably priced place to stay with large windows for cross ventilation and many amenities and is across from Peninsula State Park's middle entrance,    A Peninsula Park-View    offers complimentary bicycles to ride in the park. There are outdoor grills, a fire pit and a gathering room with ping pong.  There are many games and videos that can be checked out and every room, suite and cottage has complimentary wireless internet access, a microwave and refrigerator or a kitchenette or full kitchen.

Choices range from budget priced and nicely featured rooms, exceptional suites and 2, 3, or a 5 bedroom cottage. There is one queen room if you travel with a dog. It is convenient to walk the dog in the Peninsula State Park across the road. The romantic Anniversary Suite with a whirlpool was moved from Ephraim and  took 4 years to restore and is a wonderful experience. The Garden King is a favorite with more windows than walls. All buildings are smoke free,  but smoking is allowed away from buildings. Guests park near their door and there is seating outside on porches or decks near their door.

The variety of rooms, suites and cottages is wonderful for groups and reunions. Not only are there complimentary bicycles, there are also videos grills and a fire pit, a gathering room with ping pong and other games and fair trade organic coffee in the morning during the mild and prime seasons. Guests simply walk or bike across the road into one of the most beautiful State Parks in the Midwest. Beginning in late May or early June until September there is a large outdoor heated pool.

This small family owned resort is in an ideal location, between the two favorite Door County villages of Fish Creek and Ephraim and all the theater, arts and music and shopping experiences they have to offer.    A Peninsula Park-View    is across the road from the quiet Highland Road entrance into Peninsula State Park, making it the ideal place to enjoy everything the park has to offer. There is no fee at this entrance for hikers and bicyclists.  A Peninsula Park-View is a wood and a nine iron from the golf course entrance and it is much easier to drive in and out of the park there than at the congested Fish Creek entrance.  A Peninsula Park-View is the closest resort to most of the Park's other amenities, such as the large sandy Nicolet beach, nature center, boat rentals, American Folklore Theater and most campgrounds. It is near mountain bike trails, cross country ski and snowmobile trails.

The outdoor movie theater is a block away. It is less than a mile from the airport and airplane rides.  It is less than a mile to Eagle Harbor in Ephraim with boat rentals and beach, about 2 miles from, the YMCA, Peninsula Art School and Door Community Auditorium and less than a mile from several favorite restaurants.

Listed rates are for 2 people in the rooms and suites, for 4 people in the 2 & 3 bedroom cottages, and for 8 people in the 5 bedroom cottage. Each additional person of any age is only $10 per night. Cottages have a 3 night minimum stay during mild and prime seasons and are housekeeping units. There is a 2 or 3 night minimum in the rooms and suites on most summer, festival, and holiday weekends. Exceptions may be made during the mild and quiet seasons. Two cottages and two suites are available year round.

Besides all the Park's amenities, Peninsula Park-View has easy access to the sports, creative arts and unique shopping that the little villages in Northern Door County offers. With a mailing address of Fish Creek, Peninsula Park-View is only a block from Ephraim, at the corner of highways A at 42. It is a block from the outdoor movie theater, less than a mile from several outstanding restaurants and the YMCA. It is less than a mile from the beach, boat rentals and beautiful sunsets in Ephraim.

It is only a few minutes drive to Door Community Auditorium, Peninsula Art School, Peninsula Players, and numerous galleries.

Peninsula Park-View's central location is just minutes from attractions that Northern Door County is famous for: incredible photo opportunities in 5 State Parks, 28 protected areas and numerous county and village parks.

Did you know that Door County has a very unique identity? It has more shoreline than any other County in the United States, more rare plant and animals and protected lands than any County in Wisconsin, and exquisitely peaceful scenery. It is, therefore, not surprising that it attracts creative artists who offer visitors a wonderful variety of ways to enjoy their vacation. There are no chain stores in Northern Door County, so shopping and dining are interesting experiences in each little village. Ephraim and Fish Creek are the most desirable of the little villages in Door County, so be sure to reserve early so you can get your unit choice at Peninsula Park-View.

Besides outdoor recreation, golfing, fishing, and boating on Eagle Harbor and Nicolet Bay, guests enjoy arts, crafts, and culinary classes, and outstanding music, numerous art galleries, quality theaters, Door County festivals, fish boils and unique shopping.
