Note: Coming with a group to the Sister Bay Fall Festival? Try a 2 or 3 bedroom cottage.  There was a cancellation in the double queen room. There are no one night reservations on this weekend.

A variety of exceptionally clean rooms, suites and cottages, excellent central location and reasonable rates. There are many amenities, such as: complimentary bicycles, WiFi, organic fair trade coffee and large outdoor heated pool.

"I was the one who discovered you!" and "the central location was wonderful for our family reunion" are a few recent comments by guests at check out. It is a short drive to the theaters, world famous galleries, concerts, dining, shopping and historical experiences that Fish Creek and Ephraim have to offer. Whether you ride one of A Peninsula Park-View's complimentary bicycles and enter the State Park across the road or whether you ride your own bicycle, A Peninsula Park-View's central location cannot be beat for biking and most of what Northern Door offers.

In an interview for Peninsula Pulse, Jacob Mueller ranks Door County high as a cycling destination for riders of all levels: "Whether serious cyclist or recreational, the roads are inviting to all levels. Traffic is low, people are friendly and destination rides are awesome. Quaint coffee shops, little ice cream joints and other go-to stops are always part of my routine. The ability to ride the coast and take in the sights is important to me. Flat long roads, undulating terrain, short punchy climbs, or twisty and turning roads are all part of the experience."

This small family owned resort is in an ideal location, between the two favorite Door County villages of Fish Creek and Ephraim. Peninsula Park-View is between the outdoor movie theater and golf course and near miles of biking and hiking trails. Guests simply walk or bike across the road into the middle entrance of one of the most beautiful State Parks in the Midwest. There is no fee at this entrance for hikers and bicyclists. A Peninsula Park-View is a wood and a nine iron from the golf course entrance and it is much easier to drive in and out of the park there than at the congested Fish Creek entrance. For those interested, the owners are naturalists with training in recreation. In between remodeling and restoring the resort, they enjoy sharing information and history about the unique lands and everything Door County has to offer.

Guests love to use their Blue Horse Beach cafe discount to try the famous bacon cheesy biscuits on Saturday morning and unique sandwiches, and scones, chocolates and treats made on site. Their fair trade organic coffees and teas are some of the best you will ever experience. Guests also enjoy showing us the photo art from 2 for U in Fish Creek that they bought with their Park-View discount.

A Peninsula Park-View is the lodging closest to most of the Park's other amenities, such as the large sandy Nicolet Beach and boat rentals, the amazing nature learning center where chickadees eat right out of your hand, light house and bat preserve. Guest enjoy boat rentals, American Folklore Theater and easy access to campgrounds where friends and relatives sometimes stay. It is near mountain bike trails, cross country ski, snowshoe and snowmobile trails.

There are reasonably priced units at A Peninsula Park-View : 10 rooms, 3 suites and a 2, 3 or 5 bedroom remodeled cottage. All are very clean and individually featured. The owners work hard to offer a Travel Green stay with old fashioned enjoyment and many amenities such as, free bicycles to use in Peninsula Park, a large outdoor heated pool, free WiFi in each room and complimentary organic coffee in the morning. There are outdoor grills, a fire pit and a gathering room with ping pong and board games.

Each unit at A Peninsula Park-View has a microwave and refrigerator or a kitchenette or a full kitchen and large windows for cross ventilation. Guests park near their door and there is seating outside on porches or decks near their unit. A dog is allowed in only one of the queen rooms to accommodate groups and reunions. All other units are pet and smoke free, but smoking is allowed on site and far enough away from buildings so smoke does not go into the units.

The romantic Anniversary Suite and Garden King were saved by moving a 1939 home, destined for destruction, up the hill from from Ephraim. It took 4 years to restore the Anniversary Suite. People are enchanted by the beams and large stone fireplace while they relax in the private whirlpool. The one criticism is that we do not charge enough. The Garden King has also become a favorite with more windows than walls. In August of 2013 one guest told us (as they added 3 nights to their 6 night stay) that it was one of the nicest rooms they stayed in and they said they travel a lot.

The outdoor movie theater is a block away. It is less than a mile from the Beach and boat rentals in Ephraim and to the airport and plane rides. Sorry, we cannot provide rides from the airport, but there are car rentals and bicycles available there. A Peninsula Park-View is less than a mile to Eagle Harbor in Ephraim with boat rentals and beach, about 2 miles from the YMCA, Peninsula Art School and Door Community Auditorium and one to five miles from many favorite restaurants.

Stay with us and we will share our secrets for exploring Door County, based on what you enjoy, such as silent sports, park and natural areas, recreational activities, galleries, theaters, restaurants and shopping. We also enjoy hearing the stories guests tell about their families and places they have traveled all over the world and guest have invited them to visit many places, such as Wales, Ireland, Taiwan and Germany .

Listed rates are for 2 people in the rooms and suites, for 4 people in the 2 & 3 bedroom cottages, and for 8 people in the 5 bedroom cottage. Each additional person of any age is only $10 per night. Cottages have a 3 night minimum stay during mild and prime seasons and are housekeeping units. There is a 2 or 3 night minimum in the rooms and suites on most summer, festival, and holiday weekends. The rooms are closed from November to May. Call for off season openings in Suites or Cottages.

The central location provides easy access to the little villages, while avoiding the high season traffic hassles of the main park entrance and late night noises in the villages.

Besides all the Park's amenities, Peninsula Park-View has easy access to the sports, creative arts and unique shopping that the little villages in Northern Door County offers. With a mailing address of Fish Creek, Peninsula Park-View is only a block from Ephraim, at the corner of highways A at 42. It is a block from the outdoor movie theater, less than a mile from several outstanding restaurants and the YMCA. It is less than a mile from the beach, boat rentals and beautiful sunsets in Ephraim.

It is only a few minutes drive to Door Community Auditorium, Peninsula Art School, Peninsula Players, and numerous galleries.

Peninsula Park-View's central location is just minutes from attractions that Northern Door County is famous for: incredible photo opportunities in 5 State Parks, 28 protected areas and numerous county and village parks.

Did you know that Door County has a very unique identity? It has more shoreline than any other County in the United States, more rare plant and animals and protected lands than any County in Wisconsin, and exquisitely peaceful scenery. It is, therefore, not surprising that it attracts creative artists who offer visitors a wonderful variety of ways to enjoy their vacation. There are no chain stores in Northern Door County, so shopping and dining are interesting experiences in each little village. Ephraim and Fish Creek are the most desirable of the little villages in Door County, so be sure to reserve early so you can get your unit choice at Peninsula Park-View.

Besides outdoor recreation, golfing, fishing, and boating on Eagle Harbor and Nicolet Bay, guests enjoy arts, crafts, and culinary classes, and outstanding music, numerous art galleries, quality theaters, Door County festivals, fish boils and unique shopping.
